I do not care at all about my ranking.

I just feel AT HOME.

Thanks for worrying...

Shalom, hello, pozdrav

I've been looking a little bit for a place to put my first post on this forum, and this topic seemed appropriate.

It will be very short this time.

My name is Ognjen Ogi Diamant, I am 22 (yr, cm) lol. I grew up in Belgrade, Serbia. Two months ago I made Aliyah to Israel, in order to bring my family back on Jewish tracks. I live in Jerusalem now.

It would be very difficult for me to say which is the country that I live more - Israel or Serbia...actually - impossible.
Israel is in bigger threat and Serbia has been through harder times and still is struggling very hard. OK, you probably already now that.

Last that i have seen from Serbia is that it is modernizing, that it is getting organized, and I've left the country with impression that it could become a real leader of wide region. I could spend hours and hours writing about all potentials Serbia has. Huge spectar of different opportunities, a small country that has everything to offer except sea swimming (so far lol). It is sad that sometimes you think it is potential only, but there are some signs that it will change. It is not easy at all to come out of such a big crisis and tragedy. Sometimes it seems that crisis is still as deep as it was in the beginning of 1990's.
Serbia could, given some space, disperse good vibes to neighbors.

I hope that this modern "battle for Kosovo" can unite Serbs in efforts to build a strong country that can stand up for its rights.

I wouldn't speak much now about all the mis justice done to Serbs and Serbia through past two decades...the fact that Serbs are Orthodox nation with territory closest to EUrope...
In order to prevent big problems on Balkans in future, Serbs must be given some piece of justice. All of this seen in past twenty years, with no exceptions, was just pure force.
It is good that it seems there is place for friendship between Jews and Serbs. History and problematics are not the same, but Serbs can learn a lot. I don't like making friends based on common enemy. It is actually not a friendship. No need for it.
Serbs and Jews can become friends because those are both small nations (12 and probably 14-15 milions) who have big problems, history of being victims of genocide and hate...

I am very happy to hear about good cooperation between Serbian and Israeli governments, in intelligence and military experiences exchange. Also, Israeli companies are very active on Serbian market, there is space for lots of Serbian companies on Israeli market (our countries are not so far away)...and I am very proud to be among very few of those who came to Israel from a country where antisemitism and Nazism are not big as they in almost whole modern world are. Just after I came to Israel, Serbia has shown to all the world how Nazis should be treated. By public beating and transferring to prison and court.

OK...to make this post hit the topic:

Save Serbia from home, and by being best possible in your job, by being a good friend and a good neighbor, by being a good parent, by educating yourself and your kids. Good effect is guaranteed.

I wish that too... But the way things are now, it will never happen until a new leader unite the people. Not someone evil like hitler, but someone good. I would step up if I had the chance...
