Here's what we KNOW:

1/ 100% ethanol (zero muSSlim-nazi oil) cars are a reality in Brazil.

2/ Carbon fibre technology is available and cheap. This allows us to build cars that weigh less than 50% as much as they presently do. It is said carbon fibre allows us to build a large SUV that only weighs what a compact hatchback does at present. Thus using less than half the fuel for the same performance.

3/ The third world has vast tracts of land suitable for growing crops for ethanol production. Poor countries could derive on-going income if ethanol was in high demand.

Therefor:

4/ We could all be driving fast, family sized medium cars that weigh less than 2200 lbs (1000 kg) with 75 ci (1.2L) engines getting 50 MPG NOW.

5/ We could slash muSSlim-nazi oil revenues to the point where the arabs are hard up buying stones and clubs.

6/ The poor of the third world could have on-going revenue.

All it would take is for the world's largest motoring nation (the USA) to legislate for all new vehicles to be e100 rated by 2010 and for all gas stations to have at least one e100 pump by 2010. Europe and Asia would then follow suit.

It's entirely possible and doable now. Why isn't it being done?
