Pal-bell was a famous Israeli company started by Maurice Ascalon. His items are often marked "Pal-bell" with a logo or just a raised up print. Many of these items were purchased by grandparents or parents that went to Israel during the 40's and 50's. Today these items are highly collectible, so if you see anything marked "pal-bell" in your house, don't get rid of it.......

Most pal-bell pieces have the "verdigris" finish which is a greenish color and is common on Israeli collectibles from the 1940's-70's, with the high points being the 50's and early 60's.
attached is a menorah I recently got with the verdigris finish, it likely dates from the 70's.
So does anyone have anything similar? (Some well known companies are Pal-bell, Dayagi, Oppenheim, Hakuli and some other small companies). check your collections!

see pal-bell.com for some of the nicest judaica pieces made. Also, feel free to search ebay for "pal-bell" to see some other pieces.
