According to liberal politicians 'ordinary' Americans can't have firearms for the purpose of self-defense. Yet these same people enjoy round the clock, taxpayer-funded, armed bodyguards. Is this not the height of "do as we say, not as we do" hypocracy?

It is extremely hypocritical!

It is like  the secretary of state for the environment, went to demonstrations demanding the prevention of global warming, in a 4X4 polluting monster.

thts a no brainer
If someone says something bad about you, say something nice about them. That way, both of you would be lying.

On a related note, I think I heard last week on the news that Jessica Simpson had members of the national guard protecting her.  Why?

The guard said it was for "crowd control" purposes, said the airline asked them to do it, the airline said they made no such request...they said they did it to 'free up security personal' for more important duties...who knows why, maybe they wanted her autograph, but then she would have had to figure out how to spell her name and all that ::)

Speaking of national guard...where has Wayne been, havent seen him around in a while

Or do what they want everyone else to do...call the police and wait 10-15 minutes for them to arrive.

Well now, you've hit in right on the head.  In New York it may well be 10 -15 minutes.  What the pols who say this don't consider is people who live in rural areas.  For them, ONE HOUR is a short time to wait.

The police cannot protect you or your home anymore than they can drive you safely on the highway. Safety and protection are more than rights, they are personal responsibilities!

Call 911?

Better to cal .357 or 9X19!

The police kill a lot of people by speeding as well. There was a case recently, where a policeman was doing 70mph on his motorbike on a countryland and crashed into a cyclist who flew of his bike and landed on a jagged fence, which skewered him. It turned out the policeman, was just returing back to his station for tea.

They are a law unto themselves. They can speed , we can't. They have guns, we can't.

Yet policemen get divorced, drink, suffer from stress same as us. Can anti-gun idiots explain why cops don't all shoot their neighbours?
