Rice Still Boiling Over New Har Homa Homes


(IsraelNN.com) US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice continues to slam Israel’s decision to continue with planned construction of 300 housing units in the southern Jerusalem neighborhood of Har Homa. The area, restored to Israel in the 1967 Six Day War, was formally annexed to the reunited capital.

PLO/Hamas Arab Muslim Nazi Authority negotiator Saeb Erekat fired off an angry letter to Rice last week upon hearing of the government’s decision to proceed with the project.

Speaking at a women’s foreign policy forum in Washington, Rice reiterated her stance that the housing project may “cloud” talks between Israel and the PA.
