Students at colleges who go to a school in a different state than the state of their parents residence, still have their residence in the state where they're parents live. For example, their driver's license is still in that state. The school where they attend college is just a temporary residence for the months when they're at school. They're classified as "out-of-state" students because the school isn't in their home state.
However, the Obama campaign has been forcing college students in Iowa, who don't have residence in Iowa, to register to vote in Iowa. So they're trying to illegally get votes from people who shouldn't even be eligible to attend the Iowa Caucus.
His "new politics" is a lie and he's a hypocrite for criticizing Edwards over campaign ads that aren't part of the Edwards campaign.
