Why wasn't HR1955 in the news? What is it you ask?
It's going to affect us all. Basically if you promote any belief system of ideology that the Government terms as being extreme or violent then they can lock you up without Habeas Corpus (due process) and torture you. They can even take away your citizenship. Under the loose language of the act the martial arts that I teach (because it advocates violence to protect it's ideology) can be considered a terrorist organization .... Is this the new era of McCarthyism and thought crime?!
The presenter on the video goes into a religious rant at the end but he does make some valid points about news coverage of this important Bill that affects every one of us.
