So your family is from Montenegro?
Miloš Obilić (Serbian Cyrillic: Милош Обилић), also Kobilić (Кобилић) or Kobilović (Кобиловић) was a Serbian knight from Zeta (Montenegro) who, at the Battle of Kosovo between the Serbian Empire and the Ottoman Empire, assassinated the Ottoman Sultan Murat I.

My Father tells me
what his Father told him
and was told generations-long.
JR-Obilic:
Yea i'm not saying he wasn't a Serb. But he was a Montenegrin Serb, nontheless. Just shows we're not all evil and Montenegrins faught nobely against Turks which is why it was only occupied for a short period of time.
Obilic = real Montenegrin
since he's Montenegrin, albanians have tried claiming he's Albanian as well (much like with Alexander the great) but this is of course all [censored] and his existence is well-recorded in Serbian culture.
