Identifying and supporting the Pope as the spiritual head of Catholocism is, perhaps, the most important staple behind the Catholic faith.  I don't think one can be a Catholic without supporting the Pope/Vatican no?  At least that is what I got out of reading Paul Johnson's "A History of Christianity"...

Where have you been during war in 1991-1995 and in 1999? did you defend Serbs?

PEOPLE!!!

I'm surprised at you all!

Didn't you read Chaim's post asking everyone to please stop bashing Catholicism?  It's one thing to disagree with some of the RCC's positions.  And it's one thing to hate the Croatian Ustashas.  But to bash the entire RCC?  Please stop this right now!

This thread is being locked now, and I'm going to delete the offensive posts.

This is crazy. dhimmi pride is an Irish American Catholic who supports the Serbs and he is insulted mercilessly. dhimmi pride has not made any excuses for the evil behavior of the Croat Catholics. He has condemned their monstrous actions. But he does not want all one billion Catholics to be blamed for the terrible things that the evil Croats did.

In the General Discussion section, I have made an appeal for an end to all Catholic-bashing:

http://jtf.org/forum_english/index.php?topic=12914.0

There are 70 million Catholics in America. If the Serbs want to change America's anti-Serb policies, this cannot be done without support from American Catholics. American Catholics are NOT responsible for the evil actions of the Croats. Most American Catholics, like most Americans, do not even know the difference between Serbs and Croats. And most American Catholics would NOT approve of the holocaust that the Croat Nazis committed in World War II against innocent Serbs and innocent Jews. Most American Catholics are loyal to the United States, and would never support a regime like Nazi Croatia that fought against America and the Allies in the Second World War.  And if American Catholics were made aware of how the Serbs were loyal allies of the United States, and saved the lives of hundreds of American pilots, American Catholics would be outraged to know that the Clintons used the U.S. Air Force to brutally bomb the Serbs in 1999 and murder thousands of innocent Serb civilians.

The Serbs are understandably angry and bitter. But their anger should be directed against real enemies, not against American Catholics like dhimmi pride who genuinely want to support them.

This thread is locked.
