‘Frum’ “Growth” In The Galut: No Future Outside Israel

Paraphrasing the poster: “Anti-Zionists say statistics on assimilation, by Rav Kahane Hy”d - in his book “Why be Jewish”, only show Reform and Liberal Judaism is in decline and dying out through intermarriage and assimilation. They say it is propaganda that Jews are dying out – the orthodox are … growing in America and Israel”.
What happened to the 4 million orthodox Jews Hy”d, who lived in Europe before the holocaust – are they growing still? They were burned and gassed in the death camps, of Auschwitz, Treblinka, Bergen Belsen, Dachau and the other death camps of the German Nazis, yemach shemam vzichram. Four (4) MILLION religious Jews were murdered during the holocaust, about two thirds of the 6 million kedoshim came from religious backgrounds. They were murdered in cold blood – are they still growing? That’s what happens when you don’t fulfil G-d’s commandment to return to Eretz Israel. The PRICE of not returning to Israel is a high one – either death physically, like during the Shoah, or death spiritually.
In the U.S. there are only about 250,000 orthodox Jews and in the U.K. perhaps 25,000 – out of a Jewish population of 275,000. Some people think absurdly that those orthodox Jews are going to continue to grow. Many wrongly feel that they are not also going to feel the effects of assimilation, intermarriage and everything else. It is well known that there are so many cases of people who went to Yeshivas and took their kippa (yarmulke) of their heads and are no longer religious, because of the influence of the Galut. There are many, many instances of this.
It is true that orthodox Jewry is growing in Israel; that rate of growth is much greater, far, far greater, than in the U.S., U.K. and elsewhere. Except for Satmar and certain groups, orthodox Jews in the U.S. do not have as many children as do those living in Israel. In Israel there are much bigger Jewish families – across the board, than in the U.S. and those children are much more likely to remain Jewish in the Jewish homeland than to remain Jewish in Brooklyn, Monsey, Monroe, Lakewood, Williamsburg, Flatbush, or some other community in America. So those who say orthodox Jewry is growing in the exile are completely WRONG!
Many people say that we should live in the Glaut and get used the Galut, after Hashem has given us the Land of Israel - that is the worse thing one could possible say. You had those kinds of Jews who, in the time of Moshe Rabbeinu, refused to go to the Land of Israel. They said we have great religious communities here in Egypt; they made all the same arguments. Hashem killed every single Jew who refused to go to the Land of Israel - every single Jew, at HaChoshech, the Plague of Darkness, every single Jew – 80% of Egyptian Jewry, 80% of the Egyptian Hebrews, were killed in the Plague of Darkness because they refused to go with Moshe and Aaron to the Land of Israel.
So we have a clear indication here, that we MUST go to the Land of Israel. This is NOT a matter open to debate. You MUST live in ISRAEL. G-d commands us to LIVE in Israel. And if we don’t the punishment WILL be terrible. It says in the Talmud, “he who lives outside Israel is as if he has no G-d”. It doesn’t matter if he has a Shtromel, if he goes to a Sheteibel or if he claims to learn in Yeshivos or a Kollel. If he is living outside Israel, he is living in SIN! He is living in DEFIANCE of G-d, of Torah Law, and the end the result will be disastrous G-d forbid. Only in Eretz Yisrael – only in the Land of Israel, do we as a nation and a people have a future. That is where we were meant to be.
We can’t have a future being a hated, persecuted, powerless, stateless and despised ghetto minority, among a hostile majority population. We can not have a future like that. We can not be a Light onto the Nations that way and we are NOT a Light onto the Nations that way. Where we live outside Israel we are just hated, despised and held in contempt, where we don’t have real power – and where the only Jews who do gain power in the U.S., U.K and so on are self-hating. Only the self-hating Jews gain any power there and the results are disastrous, for Jews and for the world.
The State of Israel and Torah: Should we be Spread throughout the world?

It is completely false that Jews should be spread around the world and not have a state and sovereignty before Mashiach arrives. Jews were spread throughout the world as a punishment. Jews are NOT allowed to be living in other nations. If they were once, it was because they were forced to, that was a punishment - it was meant to be a curse and a punishment for the Jewish people. Jews are supposed to live in the Land of Israel and be a Light onto the Nations from there - Israel. It says “from Zion shall go forth the Law”. We are supposed to be living in Israel – not among the nations of the Galut – the exile.
The people, who say that we must live among the nations, are people who have gotten comfortable living in the exile – as a hated, despised and persecuted people - it’s a sickness and a mental illness.
There are Jews who prefer to be a hated, despised and persecuted people – who are a held in contempt, a scattered minority among many countries, where they assimilate and there is a spiritual holocaust going on, and where they have no national sovereignty and no national power. That’s what they prefer, rather than living in their own country amongst their own people and nation.
With all the glorious destiny that the Jewish people are supposed to have – some people prefer the ghetto way of life, living as a hated and despised minority, scattered all over and disappearing quickly through assimilation and intermarriage – and all other disastrous trends taking place. It’s a sickness and a symptom of self-hatred - and after 2000 years of statelessness, homelessness and defencelessness – without our nation of our own, many Jews got used to that and thought that’s the natural course of affairs. But that’s not the natural course of affairs, it is unnatural, and it’s crazy. It’s not normal, natural or desirable. It’s a miracle that we survived after 2000 year like that!
NO SUCH THING AS ‘GREY’ AREAS: ONLY BALCK AND WHITE
Why do we always have to see things through the eyes of our enemies? Why do we always have to bend over backwards to be "fair" and "impartial" with evil people who naturally exploit this lunatic objectivity? This insanity is part of the western disease of objectivity. Westerners always have to objective. There is no black and white, only grey. There are no moral absolutes.
In the Torah, G-d gives us moral absolutes. The Torah is black and white, not grey. The Torah shows us that in this world there is a constant struggle between good and evil. Compromising with evil is evil. Being "fair" and "objective" and "impartial" and "even-handed" with evil is evil.
Tolerating evil is evil. The Islamic Nazi religion that orders all Muslims to either forcibly convert or physically annihilate all non-Muslims is the ultimate example of a viciously evil ideology. We must be fair, impartial and objective only with people who are also fair, impartial and objective.
THE “THREE OATHS”

Many anti-Zionists or non-Zionists adhere to a “three oaths” idea, which says that they neither will attack their attackers nor defend themselves when nations persecute them. People who say we must not defend ourselves and rise up – that’s all the anti-Zionists, learn nothing from history – 90% of those who believed in that idea, their men, women and children, H”yd, were murdered in the Holocaust.
The third Oath says that Jews must be treated in a decent, fair manner and not be oppressed – that was violated in the Holocaust. The Jews were already in Israel – and the U.N. gave its “approval” for the Jewish State, as if needed – and then the Arabs attacked. They Jews were allowed to fight back as they were already in Israel. So nothing was violated.
All those who said we can’t have an independent Jewish state, there will never be an independent Jewish state before the coming of Mashiach, and their rabbis who said that, were proven wrong. They were proven wrong! How can people continue not to learn the lesson?
The vast majority of the Jews who went to Israel of course survived. In Israel you have over 5 million that are alive, you can’t compare that to the over 6 million Jews who were murdered because of this crazy thinking.
Hashem has decided to end the Galut (exile). All the Galut mentality people refuse to accept that. Their heads are tragically still in the ghetto, still in the Galut and refuse to leave to Eretz Yisrael.
They - the anti/non Zionists - think that Borough Park, Williamsburg, Monsey, Gateshead, Manchester, London, etc, are where Jews belong. Their heads are still in these places, because they do not have the courage to live in the Land of Israel. They do not have the courage to serve in the Israel army; they do not have the courage to stand up as an open, proud, strong Jewish people and great nation. They want to beg, to bend down, to bow, to scrape, to dig, because they are cowards. This is a cowardly, ghetto approach, it’s a disgrace, and this is why we had a Holocaust.
After what happened, with 6 million Jews being slaughtered, after that, we still hear this type of talk and people still don’t learn! It’s terrible!! How many more Jews do we need to lose to learn the lesson? G-d doesn’t want us to live in the Galut. And we have a spiritual Holocaust with all the Jews living in the exile – which is destroying the Galut.
Only in Israel is the Jewish population growing, every year, baruch Hashem, there is an increase in Israel’s Jewish population, while in every other country outside of Israel there is a decrease, every single year. In every other country we see the Jewish population declining.
And people don’t understand what that means?
This is complete insanity and blindness.
In thousands of years, we have the greatest Torah institutions and Yeshivahs in Israel, in thousands of years we haven’t had this type of Torah learning. The Rambam says you can not compare the Torah leaning in the Land of Israel, with that of Torah learning outside it. One of the reasons is language, another one is the very atmosphere of Eretz Yisrael. Nothing compare to that - not Brooklyn, Boston, Stamford Hill, Gateshead. No best student in those places can come close to the medium student in Israel, because in the Land of Israel, a student can easily read and study – it’s their natural language, their native tongue. In Manchester or Gateshead it’s not like that.
There is no comparison. So many Jews have been murdered because of this, and we have Satmer-type Jews, who betray the Jewish people and stab their fellow Jews in the back and work against their own people!
People who say we have to take the persecution and not respond are CRAZY. When the Irgun and Stern group started a revolt against the British, did not that create a Jewish state? Did not that throw the British out? Did not that save the Jewish people? Should we have acted as many Jews in the Ghettos of Europe acted, when they went like sheep to the slaughter in Auschwitz? IS THAT HOW WE ARE SUPPOSED TO ACT? That’s how they were told to act and that’s how they acted. And they were exterminated, H”yd – may G-d avenge their blood. COME ON, WAKE UP!! WAKE UP!!
We live in an era where G-d wants to redeem us, and if we refuse to accept the redemption the price is Auschwitz, a physical or spiritual one – one or the other. We have a spiritual Auschwitz all around the world right now, especially so in the U.S.
You live in a fantasy world, if you do not realise that the Jewish people are finished if they do not live in the Land of Israel. They have no future outside of Israel. By the way, if you like it or not, in the near future the majority of Jews will be living in Israel and that is another very significant milestone when that happens. There is a force that is pushing us there, and that is the force of Hashem – whether we like it or not. And anyone who fights against that is fighting against Hashem!
