Easy Lasagna
I wanted something very quick so I cut out steps from the regular recipies of this dish - this can be assembed in 10 mins.
* 2 tins of crushed tomatoes with onion (or garlic)
* 15 lasagna sheets - quick cooking
* 4 containers of low fat cream cheese
* 100 gms of cheddar cheese, grated
* 1 large egg
Preparation:
Heat the tomatoes in a saucepan or microwave. Mix up in a separate bowl the cheese and egg.
To assemble:
In a 9cm by 13 cm dish, put in one third of the tomato sauce. Put a layer of lasagna. Then spread one half of the cottage cheese. Repeat this stage again. Add the remainder of the tomato sauce, and cover with the grated cheese.
Cook for 40 mins in a medium oven.
Low fat and delicious.
