According to Reuters Serbia's health ministry has instituted new rules banning "grumpiness, gossiping, miniskirts and rudeness" in hospitals.

Only a former Soviet Union satellite would try to ban human emotions and behavior. Serbia is now a parliamentary republic, and bureaucrats should realize that the best way to motivate hospital workers is by raising their salaries.

I'm sure that the Serbian doctors and nurses are gossiping about the idiots who work at the health ministry.

Doing away with grumpiness and rudeness will improve morale, but I would argue that gossiping and miniskirts are a good thing -- a very good thing.

A nurse wearing a miniskirt improves the morale of co-workers, patients and visitors.

And nothing improves an employee's self-esteem like gossiping about a colleague. Nothing makes us feel better than when we are criticizing or making fun of someone else.

The former Yugoslavia had a penchant for slogans that would inspire the proletariat to work together for the good of the state. How about putting up signs with these slogans in Serbian hospitals: Grumpiness Bad; Happiness Good! Nurse wearing a miniskirt good; Nurse wearing pants bad!

I'm sure that karma will punish me for my male chauvinism, and when I'm sick in the hospital, I will be ministered by a Nurse Ratchet lookalike wearing Daisy Dukes.

I think this man is an idiot ::) ::) ::)

Serbian Cetnik (šumadinac):
They are banning stuff that don't go on in hospitals anyway.

Honestly they need to ban it. Nurses are targetted by men, and less of the porno image of women nurses the better.
