*Israeli premier to visit Pope*

Dec. 7, 2006 (CWNews.com) - Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will meet
with Pope Benedict XVI in a private audience on
December 13.

The meeting will take place after the Pope’s regular Wednesday public
audience, Israeli government sources revealed. That timing for the
meeting is somewhat unusual, since Pope Benedict has generally reserved
the late-morning hours for meetings with political leaders.

The Israeli leader requested the audience, Vatican officials disclosed.
No agenda for the meeting has been made public.

Prime Minister Olmert will speak with Italian Prime Minister Romano
Prodi after his meeting with the Pontiff.

Listen to Barry Chamish

The top of this political poster (I obtained while living in Jerusalem in 1995) should read UNCLE JIM but was too large for my printer to catch. Thanks to Image Shack I can share at least this much, which is most of it. I'm honored to say I was privileged to participate in the demonstration against then Secretary of State James Baker. As we all know, the leopard hasn't changed his spots.

Uncle Jim - Shame on you!
