Does anyone remember the Dave Chappelle Show?  On episode #101, he played a character who is a black man that was blind from birth - Clayton Bigsby.  He was also the local KKK leader.  The members never told him he was black because they wanted to keep him as their leader.  Once he found out he was black, he divorced his equally blind, white wife for marrying a black man.

The Clayton Bigsby character seems as conflicted as Obama about his heritage.  One rejects his black lineage and the other rejects his white family heritage.   Obama and Clayton Bigsby are very similar.
