Republican party chairman bans use of barack full name
« on: February 29, 2008, 12:51:43 AM »
Republican National Committee Chairman Mike Duncan formally denounced on Thursday the Tennessee Republican Party's use of Barack Obama's full name in a recent news release questioning the Illinois senator's commitment to Israel.

Some in the GOP say the use of Sen. Barack Obama's middle name in a release is a distraction.

"The RNC rejects these kinds of campaign tactics," Duncan said in a statement. "We believe this election needs to be about the critical issues confronting our nation."

The statement in question, which was released Monday, said the state party is joining a "growing chorus of Americans concerned about the future of the nation of Israel ... if Sen. Barack Hussein Obama is elected president of the United States."

It also included a photograph of Obama from a 2006 trip to Kenya, in which he is dressed in traditional attire.

The news release was sparked by recent praise for the senator from Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan, who has made derogatory remarks about Judaism and has indicated his support for Obama.

At Tuesday night's MSNBC debate, Obama said he denounced those comments and did not seek Farrakhan's support.

Ah, the good old pusillanimous (GOP) Republican party is at it again.  Worried more about not offending anyone and playing nice nice while they bend over backwards to cater to people that will never vote for them.

You all better get ready because, in my mind, the next president of this country WILL be Barack H. Obama.

Conservatives don't like the RNC.  I think many got pissed off at them after the RNC was trying to force people to accept amnesty for illegals.

Just shows the stupidity of people. The RNC wants to ban his middle name, Hussein because it is an Arab Muslim name, and just call him Barack Obama....but his first name Barack is ALSO an Arab Muslim name!!! It means blessed in Arabic!

Obama is being handed the presidency because people are to frightened to say what must be said. Look at Clinton she has almost no chance of winning. She should have spoke up in the early days of the campaign now she can't. McCain is falling into the same trap. Obama will be president the fact is almost inevitable.

The sickness of political correctness is now so acute that they can't campaign against a black/muSSlim for fear of being called 'racists'.

If Osama had any shame for his middle name, he could have changed it a long time ago.
Does it bother you that you have to face the dome and the rock to say the sh'ma?

George Walker Bush
Richard Millhouse Nixon
Lyndon Baines Johnson
John Fitzgerald Kennedy
Franklin Delanor Roosevelt
Hate Crimes?
Lets see, calling someone by their full name including their middle name is hateful if their middle name is islamic because islam is peaceful and bringing attention to the fact that the person is probably a muslim may make people think he is not peaceful because islam is peaceful  and... oh, forget it.
Do we all need need to start bowing down now, should we start taking down our churches, synagogues and temples to save the peaceful understanding muslims the trouble of doing it, should we start covering our women folk in potato sacks now, start changing our history and science books now, what the hell is wrong with America and all of western civilization. We are handing it all over to these barbaric retread 7th century pedophiles on a silver platter.
In the beginning of a change, the patriot is a scarce man. Brave, hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot.
