Kosher food

My first kosher food ever tried that I remember today was a pickle and let me say, it was disgusting. Are all kosher foods like this?

Kosher is Jewish dietary laws. All kinds of foods can be kosher, it just has to be prepared correctly. For example, a vegetarian lasagna is kosher but not a regular lasagna because it mixes dairy products with meat.

Yes.

You're not supposed to chew Kosher food...that's why it tasted bad.

Also, there's a rule that says that even if Kosher food says "Kosher" on it, it's really not, unless you eat two at a time of whatever food you want.

So, go get two more of those pickles, and swallow them both whole.  Don't attempt to chew them.

That's it!

Now you're really "eating Kosher".

Well, pickles are ok. But there is A LOT better Kosher food everywhere. A lot. Have you been to a kosher restaurant? Why not stop by a nice kosher place in the future? You can also get some in your local market although some packaged kosher food is kind of...not the same as if you make it out of scratch.

Starkist tuna is pretty delicious in the new pouches.
