I never understood how they could hold someone responsible who didn't choose to engage in the sexual behavior in question. Do they think she must have somehow initiated it?

Rubystars,
It is really very simple as to how they could hold the victim of rape responsible for the crime committed against them; these people do not have any morals or ethics.  This is not part of their pathetic culture, nurture, or genetic make-up.  Women have no value to them and they treat them as a lower class or even as property.
Their thinking is something you and I will never be able to fathom or even begin to comprehend.
