My mom's friend was having lunch at Charlie Brown's Steakhouse yesterday.  They have a salad bar with a bunch of items.  She was at the bar and preparing to take some of the chicken livers (yuck).  A black lady was next to her preparing to take the same item.  My mom's friend said they looked good, and then the black lady said, "oh I love them, I eat them so much I could be Jewish."  No neither my mom's friend, my mom, nor I to tell you the truth, were offended by the remark, but I think it just goes to show you the double standard.  If a Jew or White Gentile said this comment about chicken or collard greens to a black, I bet they would be all up in arms.

Perhaps the response should have been "Yessum, I sho do like watermelon, sometimes if I think I swallow one more seed I might jes turn black!"

Yeah, my mom does too, but I can't eat them.  I think of ground up excretory organs.

When I was a kid, I loved KFC.  By the way, my mom used to work with a bunch of blacks in the city and her favorite animal is monkeys.  She used to have monkey pictures up on her desk.  Think the blacks were insulted?
