I hope that if it's a growth hormone disorder they can get some kind of help for the child. Giantism is worse than dwarfism if allowed to progress, but unlike dwarfism, it's treatable if caught early.

Gigantisism is treatable in most cases, and is unbeleivably rare.  Thats just tall genes. 

BTW, all the strange babies are coming from India.  Are they near a Nuke reactor?

Third world nations tend to have more anomalies because of environmental conditions. Of course, there's no telling what an evil government might try to do to its citizens. I've heard of some really bad experiments that go on in China.
