I once saw some anti israel posters on a bus stop in east london. This was 6 years ago / 2002. I was walking past at 2am, (with a muslim anti israel friend coincidentally!!!)
I tore the posters so that they hung on the bus stop in shreds.
It is a very very muslim area, so lots of very islammically dressed muslims walking past that bus stop, on that road during regular hours of the day.
During regular hours, I stood near that bus stop to admire my handiwork and its effect, I watched peoples` reactions as they went past. Their expression of shock and fear was priceless. It sent a much stronger message than the posters did themselves!
anti israel posters in that area were or are just wallpaper.. nobody batted an eyelid. But the sight of their posters in shreds, just projected anger back at them, and they understand anger, and didn`t like it on them. I did not tear their posters down - otherwise people would not have seen what the posters were, I tore them in shreds with shreds hanging down. So people could see what the posters were saying. A few days layer they were taken down completely. No doubt by muslims.
