What are some of your favorite books of all time? What books would you recommend? I am looking for new books to read and there is no people better to ask then the people of this forum.

My favorite book has to be the Odyssey written by Homer they story makes you use your mind in imagining the battles as they happen in the story it is a great book.

I like the Warrior Cats series, they're in the young adult section.

Another great series in that same section is A series of unfortunate events. Hilarious. I read the whole series and still don't know what was in that darn sugar bowl.

The Dune Novels are nice too, very complex, I love that about them.

The Island of Dr. Moreau was quite interesting, well worth the read.

I also liked Asimov's robot series.

Tolkien is my favorite. "The Children of Hurin" has only recently been published and it's a great book.

Ruby, you seem like a kid at heart, which is cool.  I remember that you mentioned you liked that movie, "Neverending Story."  I remeber that from when I was a kid too.  I don't think I ever saw it, but I remember the scene where the kid was flying a dog for some reason.   O0

Yeah, it looked like a dog but it was supposed to be a "luck dragon". I had a white dog when I was a kid so I could totally relate to that image. :)
