Two Palestinian workers attacked a Jewish contractor with a hammer at a construction site in Kibbutz Masuot Yitzhak in southern Israel on Thursday afternoon.
The man was lightly injured and the two laborers fled the scene. The police are searching for them in the area.
It is still unclear what prompted the attack.

An initial investigation revealed that the contractor and the two workers had no previous connection and that the attack did not follow an argument.
Deputy Inspector General Gabi Dadon, commander of the Kiryat Malachi Police, arrived at the scene of the incident with large forces. A helicopter was launched to locate the assailants.
