Solve what exactly? There are so many significant discrepancies in the scientific community about what, if anything, is actually happening to the climate, how can they solve something that they can't even diagnose?
Regardless of whether one buys the global warming theory in its entirety or not, the single most important measure Americans can make is to eliminate the need for oil. There are two reasons for this: Oil is ecologically destructive. Its use causes carbon to be released into the atmosphere, which is believed to be a key factor in global warming. Secondly, eliminating oil will starve the regimes that want to destroy us, in particular, Iran, which is close to acquiring nuclear weapons. One nuclear weapon going off will do more to destroy the environment and create global warming than any other ecological threat.
By the way, the notion that Sharpton is left while Robertson is right is absurd. BOTH are left.
