I heard his closest advisors were not pushing her ...

I think if they had their way it woulda been safe TPaw
Grahamnesty was pushing Pruneface - Mccain had enuff sense to not listen to him.

This was probably Mccain's choice and yes ...
I agree with CF and Rubystars and DOX etc ..the fact that she's a woman
was the major factor.

But I think Palen also pushed all the right buttons for Mccain.
Conservative, Bright, Energy issues,  Women vote, Historic Achievement, Change. Reform, blah blah blah....

Thank you, Rubystars.  You see what some others indeed cannot.

If someone other than CF had said that, it might bother me.
I said what I did and meant it. You are supporting Obama if you don't vote or vote for a third-party candidate. McCain needs all the support he can get. If you don't like seeing that in type, maybe it's time for you to rethink this irrational sexism. So one of the factors McCain used in picking her was that she is a woman--you know that, I know that, and everybody knows that. Big whoop. He made a damn good choice and the fact that you are playing right into your stereotypical self is a source of laughs for many of us.  ::) ;D

Sarah Palin is the ideal candidate for VP.  McCain has done something really sane after betraying conservatives for a long time.

Mitt Romney is a mormon which is considered a cult by mainstream Christians.

Great pics! You must respect a woman who looks like that and can shoot a gun! ;)

Once again, if someone other than you were saying these things, it might bother me.

she's soooo pretty!

It's not the women's vote..

It's the men's vote that she got too!!! Probably more.
If someone says something bad about you, say something nice about them. That way, both of you would be lying.

She was a former local beauty queen. I think you're right about the men's vote. She's got mine and look at Joe Biden, her numbers with elderly patients who require viagra must be throiugh the roof so to speak! ;)

Also, may I add, Dr. Dan, she'll have the women's vote. I know 3 right off the bat, Hillary, Ellen DeGeneres, and Rosie O'Donnell just on looks alone. :::D I mean come on look at Ms. Palin! O0
