Serb Chicago's very important question
« on: September 01, 2008, 09:21:28 PM »
Serb Chicago raised an extremely important point in this week's ask JTF.  He said that he could not vote for John McCain because of his position on Serbia.  And to Chaim's credit, he said he understood.  I can only speak for myself.  I will do all that I can to show people what a nightmare Obama is, which means supporting John McCain.  But I will stand with our Serb friends regardless, until the day that I die.  I am not happy about voting for McCain.  I don't think that many of our members are happy about it.  But I believe that people should act in accordance with their own interests and Obama is anathema to my interests.  I feel I have to apologize to my Serbian friends as McCain was terrible on the issue of Serbia.  I hope they understand.

I can only offer my pledge that regardless of who gets elected, I will (as I'm sure other JTFers will) continue to advocate for Serbia.
