Palin should not respond to this at all. She needs to show she can let these things roll off her back, to be seen as a strong leader.

I don't think she should complain about it.
I think she should very nicely call attention to it.
Rally women around her.

McCain's a gruff war hero, he's allowed to say things like gook and pig and whatever. Obama's image is supposed to be youth and hope and change. That's why he can't be like McCain.
