I have heard that this bombers are very quick. They have variable geometry, so they can decrease the aerodynamic drag and fly faster.

I think they have a radar for low altitudes combined with a computer that takes over the control. So they can fly i.e. through canyons or river valleys in order to sneak under the radar.

For this big jet this is not so common.

First the S300 air defense system and now high-tech-bombers in Venezuela. Somebody should give the Russian bear some honey in order to calm him a little bit. He seems to be out of control.

Unfortunately there is a dilemma on this forum. Serbs on here support Russia and the rest of us are against Russia. This act by Russia is provoking us and WILL cause Cold War 2.

I'm with the Serbs on this.
We don't need the USA to start any more wars.
The USA is placing NATO bases, all around Russia and Serbia (even steals Kosovo), and you say the Russians start this "provocation".

I think lots of JTF-ers are fooled by the US-propaganda.
It is clear, that the regime in the Kremlin did not attacked the Georgians.
They had peace keepers in Ossetia, which was de facto independant of Georgia,
and these were under heavy attack from the Georgians, (aided by US-instructors)...

It was NOT the United States who invaded a Russian Allie
It was RUSSIA that invaded a free democratic nation and Allie of the United States

It is NOT the United States who is funding a terrorist nuclear program that WILL destroy Israel and the United States.

For Tu-160 no defensive weapons are provided and in this manner it is unarmed. It has least of stealth. No surprise that these aircrafts were escorted by NATO fighters as they flew across the Atlantic Ocean.

However it has variable geometry swing-wings with speed > Mac2 and its load carrying capacity (40 T armament) and range ( >17000 Km unrefueled) are maximum.

Technically this bomber may be highly suitable only for severely going against all the 57 muzzie countries in just one sortie. 

Unfortunately US does not have these planes otherwise Sudan to Arab, Syria, Iran & Pak666 can be dealt by the same flight.

I wish the USA would just stay out of most foreign affairs. I know that sounds kind of naive but I think we should work toward lessening our foreign involvement over time so that we focus more resources and energy here at home.
