does anybody know about greens +?
« on: September 15, 2008, 11:29:42 PM »
My boss has been telling me that he has been taking this dietary supplement greens + for some time and he says it's really good for overall health.  I've been suspicious about taking supplements but this product does sound good.  Has anybody heard of this and can you tell me anything about it?

Thanks.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

do not take supplements in place of the actual food.

For example... with broccoli .. the so called green supps that include broccoli extract, include very LITTLE of the dozens of phytonutrients and compounds that make broccoli so beneficial.  Any dietitian will tell you, eat the food... not the supplement.

However... fish oil supps are good... and possibly green tea supps.

What about taking supplements in addition to a healthy diet?
