she changed what she believed in..

she was a gentile, converted to orthodox judaism, then left it.

"In July 2003, Schlessinger announced on her show that she was no longer an Orthodox Jew. In a series of monologues over the next month, she explained that she did not feel a connection with God, and felt frustrated by the effort she had put into following the religion. Her religious approach on the show lessened substantially after this announcement. She emphasized on the air how her Christian callers always reached out to her as a respected and valued friend, unlike her Jewish contacts, who were inclined to be indifferent."

I haven't listened to any of her shows. But I google people, and you should too!

I had googled her before she was mentioned here.. I ran into her because somebody was telling me what a fraud shmuley boteach was, writing about his ideas and foreign concepts as if it's judaism, so I looked at his articles, and one of them discussed that woman.

I google lots of people, I've googled her when I wanted to go to her website......I guess I just missed the announcement.....she even tells her callers she is Jewish....so Im confused now.

I don't believe everything I read on google, anyway...

Just because something is on google, doesn't mean necessarily that it is entirely true.

Dr Laura doesn't even have that announcement posted on her website anywhere as far as I know.

This is the first I've heard this announcement..... :throw:
