Here is a nice supplemental article from Zombie on an organization called the Greenlining Institute that does a lot of what Chaim is talking about in his video. I don't know if the financial crisis has it's roots in Berkeley, but Greenlining Institute may be one of many organizations across the country that pressure banks to give loans to affirmative action schartvas.
