whats your prediction?

The Europeans are closely tied to our credit, banking, and our insurance. PLUS their currency has been hugely over-valued. PLUS many European countries already have High unemployment... even before the slowdown began... plus they have been letting in the scum of the turd world into their countries.
I am convinced that a handful of European countries will enter a period of chaos... much worse than the Paris Riots. And that the hard right and hard left will make significant political gains.
Thats my prediction.

If both hard right and hard left make political gains in a certain country, such as Austria, what are the odds of civil wars within those nations?

Civil wars are extremely rare in these times. You would need the combination of unbeleivably high unemployment, and a huge schism between the people, not the politicians. I think a revolution is much more likely.
Its possible that the Muslims could riot without end. (we've seen this in Paris), until the politicians have no choice but to act. THe extreme left would grant some form of Islamic sovereignty, and the extreme right could do a lot of things... ie enact martial law, take the nation towards a form of militarism, etc etc.
I will refer to this post if any of this happens. :)
