Today, as I often do, I was reading from my schoolbook while waiting for the train. There are just a few other people sitting quietly nearby and it was as quiet as a subway could be. All of a sudden, wild screams are heard and everyone turns their head to see what is going on. Three black youths are horseplaying on the escalator. From the sound of it, you would have thought there were twenty of them. They didn't just get off the escalator. They proceeded to run back up in the opposite direction and slide back down the median. The noise was deafening.
