Hello Chaim,
As someone who was raised in a depressingly liberal home, I now find myself hungering for fearless, authentic Judaism. Recently, I ran across some videos by Rabbi Mordechai Friedman. Not surprisingly, they were selectively edited to make him look irrational and hateful, but even then I found him compelling.
Anyway, I found his website and noticed he sells his programs, but they're a tad pricey. What I'm wondering is: what are your opinions of his teachings? I'm only concerned with his merits as a rabbi, but of course anything else you're willing to add will be appreciated.
Thank you for all you do; you have no idea how refreshing your words are to those of us who grew up on "the wrong side of the tracks," if you know what I mean.
P.S. I'd also be grateful for any other tapes you might recommend, and I'd be especially interested in acquiring any lectures or speeches by Rav Kahane (HY"D), which seem to be impossible to find.
P.S.S. Sorry if this post breaks the one question rule.
