Let's face it. McCain is a sick old man who never should have been nominated.  He wanted everyone to love him, particularly the liberals the media, like the women on on The View, who basically spit in his face.  Also, he totally lacked the ruthlessness to win at all costs, which is exactly what you need in a republican candidate.
