It appears this issue is far from dead.

The case was dismissed in the District Court but it's up on appeal. Haven't heard squat about it in the media.

nevertheless he shouldn't be given easy time. Covering up is a difficult task and might spawn further entanglements. Eventually he might actually fail. For example Clinton managed to get himself into a big trouble because he was caught giving a false testimony about his affair with Monica Levinskii.
