O.J. Simpson sentenced to long prison term

LAS VEGAS - Former football star O.J. Simpson has been sentenced to at least 15 years in prison for a botched attempt to recover sports mementos and personal items from two collectibles peddlers.

He will be eligible for parole in six years.

Las Vegas Judge Jackie Glass rejected to his apology Friday and said, "It was much more than stupidity."

Simpson stood stone-faced when the judge rattled off his punishment after he pleaded with her that he didn't mean to steal from anybody when he tried to retrieve memorabilia.

He appeared ready to break down in tears as he told her that he was "sorry and confused" before going into a rambling and emotional 5-minute declaration.

Glass also ruled before sentencing that Simpson cannot be freed on bail pending possible appeal.

He can be released in 9 years and will likely not serve 15 years. He'll probably go to a country club prison where he'll rape wiggers and convert to Islam. This isn't justice.

I'm glad he was finally convicted of something. I'm glad that he will be spending a minimum of 9 years in jail. I hope he dies in jail. I wouldn't call this justice though. First of all, it has been over 14 years since Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman were murdered. OJ has been playing golf and dining in fancy restaurants all this time. He should have been found guilty then and executed. Second, on the books he was still acquitted of the double murder. Regardless of how he is popularly perceived, he is still technically not guilty of that crime. I'm happy that he is finally behind bars, but this is still not really justice.

I thought he was already muslim. But there does seem to be a growing trend of black professional athletes converting to Islam.

I want real justice for the Brown and Goldman family cause he is a murderer that got away with murder. The electric chair would be justice. Chances are how people cave in to Neg like a bunch of sorry saps, they will pressure to let him out early. I hope a big nasty tattooed white beast in prison turns OJ to his wife, maybe he will become the other inmate's Nicole! Now that will be justice.

As long as they haven't done anything nefarious themselves I still feel sorry for them.
