People from across the world hold protests to denounce Israel's bombardment of the Gaza Strip that has killed hundreds and injured thousands. In France, more than 7,000 protesters marched in a dozen cities across the country, carrying banners denouncing the airstrikes.
In London, hundreds of demonstrators protested peacefully outside the Israeli embassy. Similar protests were also held here on Sunday and Monday, when scuffles erupted between police and protestors against Israel's air raids, leading to a total of 17 arrests.

In Washington, protests were held outside the US State Department. Protesters chanted slogans like "Stop the Killing, Stop the War, Stop the Genocide of Palestinians" while some carried banners saying "Stop US Aid to Israel".
In Tunis, hundreds of lawyers and trade unionists joined opposition activists to defy a police ban on protests. Some protesters denounced Arab countries' lack of response, particularly Egypt which has declined to open the Rafah crossing to let in Palestinians.
Demonstrators in the Yemeni port city of Aden briefly broke into the Egyptian consulate to protest Cairo's response to the Israeli offensive.
