Bernie freaking Madoff... Drinking with Bob

Bernie Madoff stole 50 billion dollars from innocent people. For some reason he is out on bail awaiting trial. While out on bail he mailed one million dollars worth of jewelry to his family members. Why? because he knows that when he gets found guilty the government is going to sell off all of his assets to pay back his victims.

Are you outraged?

Well, wait till he gets found guilty. What do you think his sentence will be? Do you think he is going to get life in prison? Do you think he is going to have to pay back the 50 billion? Of course not! This is America and Bernie Madoff is rich. At best he will go to jail for 5 years in a minimum security prison. At best he will have to pay back 5 billion of the 50 billion he stole. That's how this country works. We've seen this story before. Why would this time be any different...?
