I had actually voted for boy bands. There is absolutely no excuse for them. There just put together by record companies and they don't even write there own music. Either that since there all gay they probably write music about each other. A typical boy band will have a member that is effeminate, a member that is just artsy fartsy, a member that is a rough tough biker Rob Halford type even though I like Judas Priest. A member who try to acts ghetto and a member who I guess is just normal. You can pretty much tell by the image of N'sync below. Personally I think boy bands appeal to a bunch of ugly Betty looking prepubescent girls.

Oi is a type of white power music. Sometimes it's Nazi, sometimes not. It's really annoying though lol

Rap beyond doubt. Which was my favorite kind of music, btw, before I became a Christian. Believe it or not, at one time Chaimfan wanted to be a gangsta.

Chaimfan's Brief Analysis of Some of the Genres

Britney/Jessica/Christina: Some of this music is sleazy and whorish, and some of it is not that bad. Most of it sucks, but it is not in the same category as (c)rap.

Oi: It might be skinhead music, but it is much rarer than rap and has far less societal influence, so I'm gonna say it's not as bad.

Boy Bands: Fairly innocuous IMO. Sometimes they can get a bit raunchy but it is nothing compared to bump-and-grind R&B. Overall I am very little fazed by their likes.

Emo: Despite the negative cultural aspects surrounding it, it is often very decent and catchy music that at least speaks about genuine human pain and raw suffering. In and of itself it is far from the worst. I like some emo music.

R&B: Frequently every bit as filthy as rap, but gets one-tenth the attention of it.

I hate "Rap" the most because it insults "music" the most. It also insults humans with intelligence and class. It's also a slap in the face to the great songwriters of the past. Intead of building upon what the great ones did with music, the rappers spit on it and mock it.
