Bail Out
« on: February 11, 2009, 09:04:49 AM »
What do you guys think of this new baliout business? I personally find the best analogy as , Putting gas in a broke down car. Who cares if it has a full tank if you can't drive it, this money is going to already failing companies. Why give money to people who have already destroyed their present business? I think we already know the answer to this Obama's new plan won't even effect the economy until an election year, coincidence I don't belive so. I also have a problem with these people destroying our constitution to fit their agenda which doesn't honor our forefathers. These people tell us that this country was not founded on christian principles but if you know how to read you can debunk that theory. I read some Dick Morris the other day and he believes that this new Obama Bailout will have such irreversable changes to it that we will never have a USA as we know it (which is already to socialist for me) we have alot of work to do to change this. The only way I see to do it is to elect representative that are Christian and have a strong will. This is going to be hard to find though, no one in their right mind would want to deal with a media and liberal group that doesn't mind fabricating a story about you and spreading it to everyone. So we will have quite a fight ahead of us.

I agree!!!  We shouldn't be bailing out failing companies.  We should just let Ford and G.M fail.  There vehicles are crap.  If we let them fail then probably more successful companies like Toyota will build plants in the U.S.A.  The quickest solution to stop the bailouts would be too elect a congress that will oppose Husein's policies in two years.

From what I see there is huge pull of cash and few detail as to how it would be spent. Its basically as if someone prepares the fiscal budget only sketching a few titles and assign a random 100Xbillions of $$ to each.

The bail out is GRAND THEFT on a gross scale compliments of our Socialist Government. I want to benefit from this bailout too, but since I am a tax paying Citizen I won't be entitled to squat! They take our money for their big CEO's and the Governments social programs for non tax paying illegal aliens.
Yes, the CEO's and programs for Illegal aliens is where most of the money is going. I am so outraged about this.

The Bailouts are a bad idea, and I believe it will cause massive inflation and the devaluation of the dollar.

I agree on all points, The Bailouts are a Bad solution.  I got an email from a friend and I wanted to pass some of this keen insight onto all of you.

Something of Historic Proportions is Happening

I am a student of history.  Professionally. I have written 15 books in six languages, and have studied it all my life.  I think there is something monumentally large afoot, and I do not believe it is just a banking crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis.  Yes these exist, but they are merely single facets on a very large gemstone that is only now coming into a sharper focus.

Something of historic proportions is happening.  I can sense it because I know how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to it.  Yes, a Perfect Storm may be brewing, but there is something happening within our country that has been evolving for about ten-fifteen years.  The pace has dramatically quickened in the past two.

We demand and then codify into law the requirement that our banks make massive loans to people we know they can never pay back. Why?  ( The Community Reinvestment Act.)

We learn just days ago that the Federal Reserve, which has little or no real oversight by anyone, has loaned two trillion dollars, (that is 2,000,000,000,000) over the past few months, but will not tell us to whom or why or disclose the terms.  That is our money. Yours and mine.  And that is three times the 700B we all argued about so strenuously just this past September.  Who has this money?  Why do they have it?  Why are the terms unabailable to us?  Who asked for it?  Who authorized it?  I thought this was a government of "We the People." who loaned our powers to our elected leaders.  Apparently not.

Mr. Obama's winning platform can be boiled down to one word. Change of apocolyptic proportions.

I don't see how we can recover from these drastic changes. The dollar isn't going to be worth anything from all this debt.
