Hi Lisa, I went to my Mom's orthodox Jewish community home today and I saw an Orthodox Rabbi Rabbi delivering gifts...then my mom introduced me to a Female Rabbi who was dressed as a jester...so if her Community home is orthodox..and it is, why was there a female Rabbi there? I couldn't figure that one out.

BTW, I did have a wonderful lunch with my Mom and her friends. I had so much fun with those little old ladies and they are a riot!

OK, Muman, I understand the masked aspect of Purim, but that still doesn't explain the need to link the celebrations to secular themes.

These individuals are self-hating clowns, period. I don't think that a whole lot more analysis is needed, or warranted.
