Debatable, Israeli weapons are well made and do what they are supposed to, however the designs are not completely original.

The Galil is based off the Finnish Valmet RK 62

The Uzi is based off the Czech CZ23

Tavor TAR-21 I think is primarily original

Jericho 941 pistol is based off the CZ52

In the beginning of the video they show the HK GMW and the new squad leader self defense weapon with small calibre mp7a1.

They were in testing while a was active. I saw them at the infantry school.
