Could Pakistan be just as dangerous a threat as Iran?

I was wondering what you thought.  The Pakistani government seems to be pushing the Taliban back into the Swat Valley but the Taliban has laucnhed a number of new counter attacks in Afghanistan and Pakistan.  The fact that Pakistan sees pushing the Taliban back into the Swat Valley (which the Taliban recently took over) as a victory, shows how bad the situation is.  Some of Pakistans active nuclear weapons are now said to be close to Taliban controlled areas.  If the Taliban is able to control even a few of these weapons, it could be a major problem.  If the Taliban takes over Pakistan, you can be assured that Pakistan and India will be in nuclear war and that will mean a nuclear cloud that could circle the globe.  It won't matter if you live anywhere in the world, once the cloud hits the tradewinds. 

Also, the possibility that all of Pakistan falls to the Taliban is real and if these weapons become unaccounted for, I don't think living in an American city would be advisable.  They would very readily use nuclear weapons and hand them over to every Muslim terrorist group in the world.  Could this be just as bad as Iran for Israel and the US?

Yes, Pakistan is an extremely dangerous and volatile situation.

Could you imagine what would happen if nuclear weapons get into the wrong hands?
That would be beyond dangerous.

I don't trust any country that has Extremist Islamic factions having nuclear weapons and/or capabilities.

Pakistan and Talibans are both working together. Pakistan will continue to tell the world that its weapons can fall in talibans hands. This is a ploy, to extort money from US. Pakistan will continue to tell that it is fighting a common war with the US against Taliban. And to fight it.. they need more money. Taqiyya at its best! Taliban will never decline in Pak, they will continue to live with the help of Pak government in reality.

A Hindu Nationalist government should be in power and they should strictly warn US about sending aids to Pak. Ever since the Bush regime Pak has been sent more and more aid, and the terrorism inside the nation is only rising.

wow, that's a good point.  Pakistan keeps on having their hand out but they did have a warm and fuzzy meeting with the Taliban a few years back so that is their real intention.

Only Pak military will always rule Pak, the civilian government cannot. The Pak military favors Taliban. Even if Taliban spreads to Islamabad, still the power will be in the hands of Pak military rulers. They dont like US at all, but due to the country's worse economy they are dependent on US. Hence the game plan between Taliban and Pak. So no, according to me they will never come in power. Once their economy comes back to normal, they will continue to stage attacks against India. And sell their nuclear technology to other islamic countries.
