In this video, Manning notes that there's been at least one gang killing in Chicago EVERY DAY since Obama's election. Manning's take is that this is punishment from God for covering for Obama.
As for the second sentence above, I'm reluctant to publicly claim to knowing God's motives. With that said, if the death rate in Chicago is what Manning claims in the first sentence, then that's an incredible streak of violence. There have been whole counties in midst of civil war who sometimes take a day off.
Lastly, allow me to note that Chicago has quite restrictive gun control laws. If you ever meet anybody who is a gun control advocate (and there are fewer today, thankfully), then put Chicago on a forked stick and shove that in their face.
