According to this
the US Justice Department would've investigated the father of the Apollo program Werner von Braun for war crimes had he lived after 1979.
Would they have found sufficient evidence to implicate or try him?
Presumably some would have tried to sweep it under the carpet.
But if it came fully to light, could von Braun, the father of Apollo, have actually been tried, sentenced, jailed or deported like Demanjuk?! Or even done away with with a "heart attack"?
