I can't know for sure but there is a good chance she is not, at least not to an obsessive level. Natural & Computer Sciences researches and mathematicians are usually people who are interested in their field and don't try to "change the world". Some of them are conservative or religious people. A good example is prof. Aumann: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Aumann

It is Humanities people who are much more prone to become leftists.

Its 5th Israeli Nobel prize winner in science. The whole 1.4 billion Muslim world has only 2 winners (both of them living in West).
