Police in the Sharon region found 201 illegal workers over the weekend, hiding in construction sites and working in restaurants and other sites. Most of them were from Palestinian Authority controlled cities. A number were returned to the PA, while others will be prosecuted for being in Israel cities illegally.
In addition to the workers, police cited five drivers who transported the illegal workers into Israeli cities, four employers who gave them jobs, and two owners of rooming houses where illegal workers lived. All will have criminal charges filed against them.
