Your opinion on Central Asian Muslims.

On last week's Ask JTF, I aksed Chaim about the situation of Christians living in Kazakhstan. He anwsered that most of the Muslims in the former Soviet republics like Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan are secularized/assemlimated Muslims that don't practice or don't even care about Islam. Don't get me wrong, they still follow an evil religion.

The problem is the population there is becoming increasingly more devout muslims. The old guard despots who still rule these countries are very secular, but their main opposition is already the Islamic movement. I think Kazakhstan is the most secular of these republics. And 30-40% of its population are Russian, Ukrainian and German Christians.
