Anyone ever hear of "Shuva Emergency Aliyah"?
« on: January 27, 2010, 04:17:56 PM »
So... has anyone ever heard of this "Shuva Emergency Aliyah" thing before?
www.shuva.net
I first found out about them months ago (September 2009) and wrote to them about the same time, inquiring to learn more.  However, they never responded, and their blog hasn't been updated in a year or so.  Their site seems sort of sloppy and hastily put together, with no mention of things such as the aliyah process or costs of moving to Israel, nor are there any testimonials of anyone they've helped.  Oh, and even though I wrote to them nearly half a year ago, I never heard back from them (and for people so dedicated to helpign Jews make "emergency aliyah" to Israel, they sure seem to be in no rush to get back to me).  he woman who runs it, Shifra Hoffman, has some articles at the Arutz Sheva website (and there is some ad for Shuva at that website as well).  So... ever hear of them before?

I've seen that website, but I'm not that impressed with it. Jews who want to make aliyah should go to the nefesh bnefesh website.
