A "One State" solution: how many would die?
« on: February 25, 2010, 06:24:20 PM »
If the Palestinians follow through with their threat of a "One State" solution http://haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1152493.html compelling Israel to reconquer the whole West Bank, what would be the casualties?

Assuming Hizbollah, Hamas, Israel's own Arabs, and everyone else stay out of it, I suspect the US-trained and Israeli-equipped "PA" troops would put up quite a fight.

Even with the IDF's Merkavas and Apaches, by the time the Star of David flew again over Jericho, Jenin, Ramallah and Nablus, expect 50,000 Arab dead and 5,000 Israeli troops, settlers and civilians dead.

I hope Kfar Tapuach has contingency plans!

The only thing that concerns me is that PA troops have American advisors.  Hopefully they would be pulled out when fighting starts.  However, if Israeli troops fight smart and take their gloves off, there should be few casualties.  Of course every Jewish death is a tragedy but I would expect fewer than 100 if the Israeli government decides to make sure Jews come out alive rather than Arabs.
We all need to pray for Barack Obama, may the Lord provide him a safe move back to Chicago in January 2,013.

Unfortunately due to the anti-Torah "Zahal Code of Ethics", the IDF is never allowed to take its gloves off, leading to hundreds, even thousands of unnecessary Israeli deaths, whether in Jerusalem in 1967, Beirut in 1982, Jenin in 2002, Wadi Saluki in 2006 etc.

Peres and Ashkenazi boast that the IDF is "the most moral army on earth". Rivers of Jewish blood have paid for that boast! The original novel concept of the ruthless genocide of an enemy as a mitzva of Hashem and in order to save Jewish lives comes from.....the Torah!

As long as most Israelis are more afraid of Arab "civilian" casualties than dying, Israeli casualties will be needlessly high.
